The Salem Witch Trials

Are you ready to immerse yourself in a world of fear, paranoia, and recrimination? Join us in the Salem Witch Trials and get wrapped in an environment where no one is safe from being accused.

In this Special Assembly-Crisis hybrid committee, delegates will go through the experience of the famous trials and deal with issues such as gender discrimination, class conflict, groupthink, and religious hierarchy. Delegates will find themselves in roles such as village officials, citizens, accused witches, or neighboring villagers working together to try and reshape Salem's fate.

Following a Special Assembly format with a unique courtroom trial system, delegates can incorporate these updates into moderated caucus topics. Through persuasion and quick thinking, players will have to protect their characters and alter Salem's history.

This committee is an intermediate committee, as it is an SA-Crisis hybrid with unconventional aspects and creativity required to succeed.
