A: Creative Perceptive Judicious
Meet Mihir Rao, a senior at Henry Wise Wood High School pursuing the International Baccalaureate certificate program. Introduced to Model United Nations through a summer seminar before entering high school, he has since debated regionally and interprovincially. Through Model UN, Mihir channels his passion for geography and current affairs, broadening his perspective and inculcating a deep appreciation for global affairs. Instrumental to his personal growth, Mihir treasures the life-long memories and connections his Model UN journey has provided him. He has a deep passion for international development and social justice, leading dialogue and initiatives on various issues at regional and national levels. You can find Mihir engaging with decision-makers at Parliament Hill, emceeing various arts and culture events, and advocating for sustainable environmental policies. To unwind, he’ll either be experimenting in the kitchen or bringing characters to life on the theatrical stage. Mihir is elated to serve as your Secretary-General for WiseMUN 2024, and cannot wait to meet you in December!

Meet Ekam Mann, a dedicated senior IB student with aspirations of becoming a pilot. Ekam is not just academically driven; his passion for debating world affairs is reflected in his dedication to MUN. When he's not engaging in intellectual discussions or debating the minutiae of the Star Wars universe, you can find him reading the Air Cadet Drill manual or polishing his boots. Having previously served as the Deputy Director General for WiseMUN I, Ekam is now honoured to serve as the Director General for WiseMUN II, where he is excited to lead and inspire fellow students in the art of diplomacy and global affairs. For Ekam, MUN is not just an extracurricular activity but an opportunity to discuss real issues with like-minded people.

Bhuvi Goyal
Meet Bhuvi Goyal, a dedicated member of the Henry Wise Wood Model UN club and the Chief of Staff for WiseMUN 2024. Bhuvi is passionate about Model UN and how it challenges students to step outside their comfort zones and encourages them to engage with real-world issues. Outside of Model UN, Bhuvi is a partial IB student actively involved in various extracurricular activities, ranging from Debate and Student Council to Girl Guides and Air Cadets. Bhuvi also enjoys engaging in the fine arts, particularly music, as well as dance and drama. Model United Nations holds a special place in Bhuvi’s life for bringing together a community of forward-thinkers and admirable individuals. She eagerly anticipates contributing to the success of the second iteration of WiseMUN!
