International Baccalaureate Organization
Have you ever wanted a say in the organisation shaping your education? With the IBO Committee, that chance is yours.
The International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO) is a non-profit global leader in education, developing and implementing curricula across 150 countries on six continents - think of it as the world’s largest school. This SA offers delegates the unique opportunity to help shape IB policy — impacting what and how students learn. Delegates must collaborate to local needs and attitudes with the challenges of building a truly international curriculum, all while managing the bureaucratic realities of implementing curricula. Perhaps, in balancing rigour and idealism with practical problem-solving and compromise, they will succeed.
This committee is rated intermediate - it will follow the standard rules of procedure, however, some alterations to the way in which working papers are to be formatted and presented, adding a level of complexity and difficulty over standard and beginner SA committees.
