Sleeping With The Fishes
Corruption, racketeering, alcohol, murder; the epitome of success in 1920s Chicago. Mobsters run the city with an iron fist, and are selling thousands, if not millions, of gallons of liquor each day under less than legal means. With all this wealth, the only real threat to their empire is themselves.
Sleeping with the Fishes is a crisis with committee-specific features from weapons and hitmen to money and area control. Delegates must achieve a comprehensive understanding of the intricacies of the committee in order to be successful in achieving such things for themselves and/or their gangs. To be prosperous, delegates have the opportunity to achieve outrageous wealth through varying degrees of participation in illicit activities, such as backrooming and frontrooming to partner with - or mislead - police, other gangs, or your own. It is a relatively intense and fast-paced committee, with a myriad of factors that can change a delegate’s fortunes in an instant.
This is an intermediate-advanced committee. It is a crisis with a niche topic and setting, along with unique aspects that require intense backrooming and strategizing knowledge between personal character arc and gang goals.
